Iraq. A great concern. Why is everrybody behaving like demons. Both sides. I wonder if soldiers ever behaved differently. In previous times " war crimes" were only committed by the loosers, the victorius nations would never admit any wrong doing and in years gone by media controll was much easier. Times have changed and the victor's war crimes are more difficult to hide. I think if we were able to go back in time , we will discover that attrocities were committed by all soldiers on all sides through all the ages. It was only regarded as crime if you were on the loosing side.

The only way to stop this is by devine intervention. When God takes controll and authority all these disgusting evil behaviour will come to an end. The only thing to do is to pray for a speedy end to this evil age.

I saw "The Passion of the Christ " today. There is no anti semetism. People who blame the Jews do not understand the message. He had to suffer and He had to be crucified. It was predicted and it was necessary for our salvation.

It won't help blaming the Jews or who ever . Your sins, our sins nailed Him to the cross. He paid the price for our redemption. You either accept it as the basic Christian doctrine or you ________----- and regard the whole thing as fiction .And oly if you regard the gospel as myth, a story or fiction can you read anti semitism into it.

Two TV programs influenced today's reflections. The first was a talk program about "The Passion of the Christ". Theological academics participated. The last question put to them was " If you were Mel Gibson, what will your approach have been?" The answer of one of the academics relate two the next program.

The second program was a rebroadcast of Dr. Phil's popular TV show. The topic was school bullies.

How does the theologians answer and school bullies relate to each other. ? The theologian's answer was that Mel Gibson should have put more emphasis on on Christ's message of relating to the poor , the oppressed and abused Dr. Phil's message was that both the bullied ( oppressed, abused) and bully ( oppressor, abuser) needs help.

I think Christ's message and His passion ( suffering) was for the rich, the poor, the oppressor , the oppressed, the abuser, the abused, the bully and the bullied. He love for love sinners let to his terrible death. He did not side with anybody, He died for all. When He comes again , He will not side with anyuybody but He will take control and authority as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Do not fool yourself , we must be on His side and He won't side with our evil ways.

In the Middle East a Muslin religious leader killed. Violence in Iraq. (already 12 months since Sadam was toppled) Violence nearly everywhere. Like children in a class room without a teacher. Except their fights are more violet and with destructive weapons. Everybody believing their cause are just and the one's believing in a Creator, convinced that He is on their side.

But does God took sides. NO , HE TAKES AUTHORITY !!!!!!!. When the teacher ( authority returns to the class room, the fighting and shouting stops). When God steps in ( as He promised he will ) He will take authority and will put an and to all thus violence, fighting and quarrels.

We must side with GOD, not HIM with us. How to we side within HIM. Look at fruits of our hand. Is it love, compassion, caring , loving our neighbor as ourself? Or is it death, anxiety, destruction, weeping, hatred, anger etc.?

You will know them by their fruits.

As I read reviews about "The Passion of the Christ" the more I came to the conclusion that there is a great deal of ignorence around Christianity and its basic doctrimes. .

The first mistake.

Many reviewers and commentators stated that it is anti Semitic (anti Jewish) This is a false statement.

Nobody is to be blamed for his death except everybody. Everybody ? It was not the Jews nor the Romans but the sins of humanity as a whole that crucified him. He paid the price for every sin ever committed by every human being who beliefs in him.. His sacrifice was necessary to open the door to paradise.

The second mistake

The film is to violent and it is senseless violence. These comments are wrong.

During the period that the new testament was written, most people knew of and witnessed crufixions. It was a common form of public execution at the time. To comprehent what was done for us, we must realise the extend of his suffering. We must see HIS love behind the violence. The people in New Testementical times realised his suffering.

Behind the violence directed at one completely innocent human being is the Creators love for humanity.

The Prophecy

53:1 Who has believed our message? and to whom has the arm of Yahweh been revealed?
53:2 For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he has no form nor comeliness; and when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
